About Daycare Center
Elizabeth’s Daycare and Preschool Center is a trusted childcare and early learning program offering Spanish immersion education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. With locations in Arlington Center and Cambridge, Massachusetts, we are proud to be the community’s leading provider of bilingual early childhood education.
At Elizabeth’s, we believe that learning a second language at an early age opens doors to a lifetime of opportunity. Our nurturing environment allows children to develop confidence, curiosity, and cultural awareness — all while learning through play, discovery, and meaningful interaction.
We understand that parents want a place that feels like a true home away from home. That’s why every detail of our program is designed with care — from our cozy cloth diapers for infants to the fresh, home-cooked meals prepared daily for our students.
Our dedicated teachers foster a sense of belonging and community, helping children build friendships, explore their creativity, and grow at their own pace. At Elizabeth’s Daycare and Preschool Center, your child will be loved, supported, and inspired to thrive — in both English and Spanish.

What Makes Us the Best Choice?
Outdoor Play
Children can enjoy outdoor playtime in a large, fenced-in yard with a variety of outdoor toys. Additionally, walks around the neighborhood in a stroller or wagon are taken.
Age-Appropriate Curriculum
We offer a comprehensive, research-based, age-appropriate, learn-through-guided play bilingual curriculum that is taught daily. Our lesson plans and daily activities for the children cover cognitive, language, physical, social-emotional, and adaptive/self-care learning domains.
Open When You Need Us!
Our childcare facility is open for 10 hours every weekday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, which is much longer than most family child care providers. We offer year-round childcare with a planned program calendar.
Healthy Food Included In Package Option
Our childcare facility offers healthy and all-natural foods and drinks, including trained kitchen staff with a Serve safe certificate. Breakfast, lunch, and PM snack are included in the option package.
Brightwheel Reports
Parents receive a daily written report for their child, which includes information on daily meals and snacks, naps, diaper changes, mood, curriculum, and outdoor activities.
Meet the Daycare Center Team
Edwin Cristobal
Arlington Heights Program Director
In 2006, Edwin Cristobal and Elizabeth Yanez embarked on their journey as child care educators. They had over 30 years of combined experience in home daycare, and they had raised their own children.
Edwin’s dedication to providing the best care possible comes from his passion for children, which began with his own family. As a professional carpenter and general contractor, Edwin understood the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. That’s why he had the pleasure of designing and building Elizabeth’s Daycare and Preschool Center. The daycare program is committed to providing the best care for every child, and their facilities reflect this commitment. With their expansion, they are excited to offer their services to even more families. Edwin believes in the power of education and strives to provide a stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. As a father and grandfather, he invests in the well-being of children and is honored to help shape their futures.
